Build 'The Cover'
What's in the box:
- Bottom frame with velcro and holes
- Top frame with watering system
- 4 x vertical braces (1 with loop for watering system)
- 1 x cover
- 4 x bolts
- 1 x ratchet clip
- 1 x allen key
- First, we need to assemble the frame fully. The rectangle frame with the holes and Velcro is the ‘bottom’ of the lid frame. The rectangle frame with the watering system attached is the ‘top’ of the lid frame.
- Start joining the vertical braces to the bottom rectangle. These will push on to the joiners, careful to join them vertically and not at an angle. Attach all 4 vertical braces. One brace has the loop for the watering system hose to go through. Put this one at the back right corner.
- Attach the top rectangle to the 4 vertical braces that you just installed. Thread the hose through the loop on one of the vertical braces before pushing the frame on to the joiners. Again this will just push on, careful to line up the joiners.
- Slide the cover over the top of the frame. The Velcro on the cover will pull and join to the Velcro on the bottom of the frame. The cover fits snuggly, you will need to start pulling it over the frame evenly.
- Take your time to line up the cover nicely on the frame. Ensuring that the cover is lining up evenly with the frame. The holes on the cover should line up with the holes in the frame and on top of the planter. If they don’t line up, adjust your cover so they do.
- Place your frame with the cover on it on The Provider
- Unzip your harvesting window. Use the 4 bolts provided to attach the lid to The Provider. Use the provided allen key to tighten the bolts, these don’t need to be over tightened.
- Attach the hose on to the joiner that is on The Provider, this will fit firmly all the way down over the joiner. Use a ratchet clip to tighten the pipe on to the joiner.
- Make sure your lid is sitting correctly on top of The Provider. Plug your hose in and make sure that the watering system has been installed correctly.
