Filling 'The Provider'

We like to think we have done the hard work for you. Raised your garden bed, created a drainage system, built in a misting system, all while looking good. It doesn’t matter your gardening experience; our planters help you succeed.

Choosing the right soil and setting up your planter correctly is crucial for successfully growing vegetables and plants at home. It ensures optimal drainage, nutrient availability, and healthy root development for your vegetables. But don’t worry, it’s not that hard and we are here to help.

You will need 4 x 40L bags of material to fill your planter. We recommend using a premium vegetable mix soil that is readily available at any gardening store. To give your vegetables the best chance you can include Perlite or Vermiculite to ensure good aeration and moisture retention in the soil.

Maintenance Tips

  • After each crop, turn the soil and add an organic fertilizer to refresh your soil ready for the next crop.
  • Regularly check the soil moisture to ensure it is not too dry or waterlogged.
  • Amend with additional compost or organic fertilizer as needed to maintain nutrient levels.
  • Regular monitoring and maintenance will help ensure healthy plant growth and a bountiful harvest.
  • We recommend replacing the soil every two years to ensure optimal soil and plant health

Happy gardening!

Don't forget- When you purchased the provider we wrapped it in HoneyComb Paper Roll to keep it safe in transit. Did you know this product is home compostable? Rip it up in to small pieces and place it in your soil in your planter or your garden at home. It will take around 120 days to break down.

Safety tip: Always wear gloves and a dust mask when handling compost and soil for safety.

Now, you're all set to plant!
